The first painting in a series of four entitled ‘Knowing Myself by Letting Go’. When I first had the initial visions for this series, the song ‘The Sound of Silence’ by Simon and Garfunkel followed me everywhere – whilst at a coffee shop, walking through a store, or on the radio. And so she was christened. The name expresses so perfectly the serenity of this painting. A truly beautiful energy to paint!
